This course provides a guided and collaborative journey in the pursuit of equity. Building Equity - Policies and Practices to Empower All Learners by Dominique Smith, Nancy Frey, Ian Pumpian and Douglas Fisher, presents The Building Equity Taxonomy by which districts and/or buildings can focus on equitable practices and outcomes. This course will include both online modules (Please register on Canvas) with assignments to be completed individually and Zoom sessions to engage in dialogue over specified parts of the book. January 26th 4-5:30pm February 2nd 4-5:30pm February 16th 4-5:30pm February 23rd 4-5:30pm You may choose to participate in all or portions of the course. Contact hours will be granted based on participation.
