Description:
Did you know that approximately 75% of what children learn is through listening?  Did you know that reading actually lights up the auditory centers of the brain?  Auditory processing abilities are a foundational set of skills that can impact phonemic awareness, language, reading, and classroom listening abilities.  Join the Summit Educational Audiologists and learn about the components of auditory processing and how the speech language pathologist and educational team can best coordinate in order to differentially determine how students may be impacted by their auditory processing abilities
