Event Groups:
• Summit ESC - Speech/Language Pathology
Description:
Ethics is a verb and it is all about what you do and how you do it. Ethical issues span every aspect of practice and can present dilemmas for SLPs and educational audiologists working in the schools at all levels of experience. This session will address various facets of ethical dilemmas, including tips on how to respond when you find yourself caught between that proverbial rock and a hard place. Learn how to utilize the Ohio Revised Code, ASHA’s Code of Ethics, and ODE rules to decide whether an ethical dilemma is present.  This presentation will incorporate real-life scenarios incorporated into an interactive, engaging, and informative session to decide whether an ethical dilemma is present.  This presentation fulfills the 2 hours of Ethics requirement to renew your Ohio license in speech pathology or audiology.
