Participants will learn about the Ohio School Counselor Evaluation System. The performance of each school counselor will be evaluated by a standards-based assessment in conjunction with their ability to produce positive student outcomes determined by LEA's. The system, includes samples of effective practices, explains how to implement school counselor evaluations according to state law and the State Board framework. To be a certified evaluator of school counselors in the state of Ohio, an individual must complete a one-day training delivered by an OSCES state trainer. There is an $85 fee for this course.
