The Process of Second Language Acquisition and Bilingualism:Language Difference or Language Disorder?
In this session, participants will be able to identify the
stages of second-language acquisition processes and will gain knowledge on how
to discriminate between a language difference versus the possibility of a
language disorder or disability. Educators and administrators will gain
knowledge and insight on the elements necessary to produce a referral to the
intervention assistance teams or to the special education planning team.
