We will observe various cases when a child may present as functionally non-verbally despite traditional speech therapy and decide if high-tech AAC should be considered. We will explore feature matching, look at various system vocabularies briefly and discuss the AAC process. We will end with a discussion on feasible implementation in the school setting.
