Description:
Did you know that 3 out of every 1,000 children are born with a detectable level of hearing loss in one or both ears?  Did you know that approximately 14% of school age children have some degree of hearing loss? Connecting with the child, family, hearing care team, early intervention, and schools is important in providing hearing care.   Summit Educational Service Center educational audiologists, Mercy Health Audiology & Otology, & Mahoning County Early Intervention will be hosting lunch and educational event in celebration of May Better Hearing & Speech Month.  Come join us for lunch (either in person or virtually), meet the teams, learn, and ask questions.  This event is for school administrators, special education directors, interventionists, speech-language pathologists, and other related service professionals.

Place:  Medical Education Classroom (Room 110), Mercy-Bon Secours, 8423 Market Street Boardman, 44512 (Note: masks are still mandated at time of flyer)
