Participants will learn principles of applied behavior analysis, and review how they can be applied to the classroom setting. Topics include: antecedent strategies, reinforcement, prompting, assessment of behavior, creating behavior plans, and data collection. Sessions will cover topic areas via power point presentation, group discussion, hands on practice, and video demonstration. This series is appropriate for paraprofessionals, classroom teachers, and those who wish to refine their knowledge and skills regarding behavior management techniques.Participants are encouraged to attend the entire series, as each session will incorporate skills learned from each prior theme.
