Summit ESC is bringing human trafficking awareness to districts by offering What You Need to Know About Human Trafficking to enable educators to help put a stop to it when the symptoms arise.

According to the U.S. Department of State, there are, “an estimated 24.9 million victims worldwide at any given time, human traffickers prey on adults and children of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities, exploiting them for their own profit.”
Participants will walk away with skills they will carry with them daily. It can happen to anyone around you – no matter their background – and you could be the one to recognize the red flags.
There are constantly new developments in preventative measures so this is an excellent course for those who are looking to gain a new understanding of human trafficking as well as a refresher course for those who may have attended similar training in the past.
