Summit Educational Service Center Hosts Job Fairs

The Summit Educational Service Center (ESC) is dedicated to providing administrative, curricular, instructional, instructional technology, pupil personnel, and professional development services to the 16 districts in the area and assisting them in reaching their educational objectives.  On Tuesday, August 25, Summit ESC, along with The Renhill Group, Ohio’s premier substitute staffing solution, will host its first of 2 Job Fairs.

“We’re looking to hire substitutes for our 16 client districts for the 2020-2021 school year.  We have excellent substitute opportunities for student aides and teachers.  Substituting is a great way for interested applicants to showcase their abilities, build their resumes and gain valuable experience and many of our substitutes go on to become future district employees,” said Bob Wolf, Director of Human Resources, Business Management and Technology for Summit ESC.

“We invite qualified candidates to attend one of the two job fairs.  Our mission is to engage qualified capable candidates who have a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of students,” said Barrie Howell, Renhill Group, President.  “An ideal candidate would a parent, retiree, or college student or graduate with a flexible schedule who wants to give back to their local community.”

The August 25 event will be held from 9:00 am-noon at the ESC located at 420 Washington Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH.   Strict safety precautions and social distancing will be practiced.  The second job fair will be held on Tuesday, September 22 from 9:00 am to noon.

Walk-ins are welcome and facemasks are required.  Advance registration is encouraged and can be done by visiting https://renhill.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=904 or by calling 216.767.5611.   Local members of the community who cannot attend are encouraged to call to schedule an interview.

“These are unprecedented times, but we remain committed to providing a high-quality education to all of the students in a safe and healthy environment,” said Wolf.
