REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Join us to learn about this food and nutrition information program available for your students. The presenters teach a variety of audiences starting at preschool through senior citizens. In the school setting, they use a curriculum that focuses on introducing MyPlate, eating a variety of fruits & vegetables, drinking water, getting physical activity, and making healthy breakfast and snack choices. The goal of these programs is to provide free lessons to low-income area and audiences in hopes that they will leave class feeling more confident in their abilities to make healthier choices. Featured speakers: Jordyn Yeater and Amanda Hallisy from OSU Extenstion.
