Attendance Solutions Alliance is a group of interdisciplinary stakeholders who are invested in decreasing the rates of chronic absenteeism among K-12 students. The purpose of this meeting is to continue problem-solving discussions to create innovative solutions to address chronic absenteeism.
The intended audience for this meeting is any school personnel, community providers, juvenile court, or other stakeholders with direct involvement in attendance intervention and support.
In addition, SST* (State Support Team 8) will present "Combating Chronic Absenteeism" on April 11, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at the Summit ESC. During the 2.5 hour session, SST8 consultants will lead you through identifying root causes, strategies to combat absenteeism, and time to create a plan. Along with the plan development, SST8 will assist you in developing early warning triggers and progress monitoring the chronic absenteeism work.
